As the EU is committed to environmental sustainability, social inclusion, and equal opportunities, the NO GAP project helps to fulfil those goals by sensitizing future specialists in green professions to consider climate adaptation strategies and professional accessibility in their thinking and acting. Therefore, NO GAP aims to involve environmental challenges and accessibility in the workspace for future specialists accordingly.

The project implementation of NO GAP aims, in particular, at strengthening training in the green professions of gardening and landscaping as well as in agriculture and to enrich the training curricula with critical future topics. The second goal of the project is to give disabled people the opportunity to find work in these green professions and to experience participation in these specific professional fields. The target group is young people up to the age of 27 with and without disabilities who are either undergoing vocational training.

The project will offer the following resources:

  1. A Comprehensive Report of the consortium countries in terms of the existing framework plans and curricula on green professions, climate adaptation, and accessibility in VET education.
  2. Three training modules regarding climate adaptation and accessibility in gardening and landscaping, climate adaptation and accessibility in permaculture, and technical support for accessibility in green professions.
