Union of Skills | #ErasmusDays 2026

16 October 2026 | 18:00–21:00 | Lympia, Municipality of South Nicosia–Idalion

The Municipality of South Nicosia–Idalion is organising an open public event as part of Erasmus Days 2026, centred on the theme “Union of Skills” and promoting intergenerational learning, lifelong education and active civic participation. The event highlights skills development as a tool for social cohesion, personal growth and active European engagement, echoing the European Commission’s Union of Skills initiative.

The event takes place on Friday, 16 October 2026, at the Lympia Cultural Centre or the Lympia Community Park, depending on weather conditions, and features activities combining local cultural heritage with 21st-century skills. A key element is the two-way exchange of knowledge between younger and older participants, showcasing the value of collaboration and intergenerational learning.

Information stands hosted by organisations participating in the Erasmus+ programme will provide information on opportunities for mobility, training, volunteering and international partnerships, while short thematic workshops for young people and adults will be held in line with Erasmus+ priorities.

Citizens In Power will take part with an information stand. Visit us to meet the CIP team, learn about our ongoing European projects and find out how you can get involved in mobility, training and volunteering opportunities.
