Cultural Walk - Rainbow Rhythms & Archtech Projects

✨ We are filled with joy and gratitude as we look back on a truly special walk through Nicosia’s old city — this time, seeing and reading it through a different lens.

In a city where visible queer monuments are almost absent, we turned our attention to the stories and places that have been standing in plain sight all along. 👣

Through five stops along a circular route within the walls, we explored spaces, buildings, and streets connected to art, education, activism, social history, and the queer experiences that have shaped the city.

💜 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who walked with us, listened, shared their thoughts, and joined the conversation. Your presence and participation gave real meaning to this journey.

🙏 Special thanks to all our partners, volunteers, and supporters who helped bring this experience to life.

The walk was also connected to Buildings Alert!, a digital application developed through our Erasmus+ project ARCHTECH, where each stop along the route comes to life through photographs, architectural details, and the stories behind the buildings.

We ended the evening back at the CIP Impact Hub, with drinks, conversation, and the chance to exchange thoughts and experiences.

Because sometimes, seeing a city differently isn’t about discovering something new — it’s about looking again at what has been there all along. 🏳️‍🌈✨
