Gaming Disorders: Upskilling school staff responsible for psychological and social support to identify, report and prevent “Gaming Disorders”

In the age of digital transformation, being online has become an important part of our daily routine, be it for fun, work or study. Despite the many widely investigated and well-known benefits that technology brings to our everyday lives, it also comes with its own unique challenges. It is, therefore, essential that we are aware of them in order to create appropriate strategies and tools that allow us to circumvent them.

Gaming Disorders is an Erasmus Plus KA2 project which aims to educate youngsters on how to build their digital/virtual identity and distinguish it from their real identity, whilst also educating them on how to build a healthy relationship with online gaming and the use of the internet.  It also aims to provide teachers and educational staff with competencies and tools to address the challenges that arise from digital transformation, focusing on Gaming Disorders.
