Football for a Chance (F4aC) intends to utilize the transformative power of football in a way that will foster social inclusion, healthy living, career development, and community well-being. The project will target those who face barriers to social inclusion and participation and unequal opportunities in accessing football, such as migrants, women, and people with socio-economic constraints. Alongside this, it will involve stakeholders such as football-managers, coaches, and officialsin improving their capacities to foster inclusivity, gender sensitivity, and cultural and social diversity. F4aC will develop a novel digital application including customized educational modules on football skills, tactics, nutrition, personal development, pathways to careers in football as well as on inclusive football. These resources will provide marginalized groups and football stakeholders with specialized training to foster equitable practices and inclusive environments in football, advancing the sport for social inclusion and equality. In order to remove some of the key geographic and financial barriers to participation, it will also include an interactive digital map of accessible football facilities developed in partnership with municipalities and local institutions. It would further allow the users to create a digital CV showcasing their talent via the function of profiling. It would present professional opportunities not only on but also off the field to participants. This project will address systemic, cultural, and stereotypical barriers to football, closing the gap between talent, will and opportunity and provide stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to build inclusive and equitable systems. F4aC will provide a sustainable network by engaging municipalities, football institutions, clubs, and community organizations that may help in the fostering of empowerment, social cohesion, mobility and the use of football as a catalyst for societal change and inclusion.
