Exhibition opening 22/5 | ROOMS: Points in Cypriot Queer Art History
Accept-LGBTI Cyprus and Citizens in Power (CIP) are pleased to present ROOMS: Points in Cypriot Queer Art History, an exhibition opening on Friday, 22 May 2026, from 19:00 to 22:00, at Korai Project Space, Nicosia.
Organised within the framework of the Rainbow Rhythms project (Project Number: 2023-2-CY02-KA220-YOU-000174852), the exhibition brings together archival material, moving image, testimony, contemporary artworks and participatory practices to trace selected moments in Cypriot queer art and movement history.
Conceived as a passage through the veil, ROOMS approaches queer visibility as part of the ordinary social, cultural and historical fabric of Cyprus. The exhibition reflects on memory, embodiment, public presence and cultural transformation, while opening space for intergenerational dialogue and collective reflection.
