Join the Space for Defence & Security hackathon on 24-26 March 2023! The CASSINI Hackathons are a series of hybrid hackathon events that leverage the European Union’s space technologies to tackle global challenges. Each edition has 1 theme, takes place in 10 locations, and brings together 100s of participants from across Europe. In the Space for Defence & Security, we challenge all of you to develop new products and services that contribute to strengthening Europe’s defence and security capabilities with the help of EU space technology!

This year’s topic is “Space for Defence & Security” and covers 3 main challenges. The coders are requested to consider these 3 challenges along with the European Space Tools such as Copernicus, Egnos & Gallileo.

Below are the headings of each challenge for this hackathon:

Challenge #1: Enabling cross-terrain mobility

Challenge #2: Making the seas more secure

Challenge #3: Protecting our critical infrastructure

Apply your innovative mind to create sustainable solutions that will propel this key sector into the future.
