Dr. Florentia Hadjiefthyvoulou holds a BSc in Neuroscience, a PhD in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education. She has worked as a Lecturer in Psychology at several UK universities for nearly 15 years until recently. Throughout her academic career, Florentia has taught a wide range of psychology topics, with expertise in psychobiology, mental health, and addiction. She has supervised numerous student projects at undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD levels, served as a program leader, and held various roles in module leadership and university administration. Florentia is a Chartered Psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Throughout her teaching career, Florentia has been an active researcher involved in various research projects and has several peer reviewed publications in high-impact international journals. Her research interests focus on the effects of recreational drugs on memory and cognition, as well as individuals’ experiences with tobacco and cannabis vaping. In recent years, she has also developed a growing research interest in the connection between nutrition and mental health.
