Project Researcher – Manager
Mia Gaia Trentin holds a PhD in European Social History and degrees in Cultural Heritage Conservation, Medieval History, and Archaeology from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy). An archaeologist and historian specialising in digital humanities, she bridges research, heritage management, and civic engagement. As Project Manager and facilitator, she promotes collaboration between academia, institutions, and communities to enhance the social value of cultural heritage. She has led and coordinated several interdisciplinary projects, including DIGIGRAF and GRAFMEDIA, which developed methodologies and digital tools for the documentation and interpretation of Mediterranean historic graffiti. Her work with European networks such as 4CH Competence Centre, Underground for Value (COST Action), and HERITALISE (Horizon) focuses on innovation, accessibility, and participatory heritage regeneration. Mia’s expertise combines digital heritage, project coordination, and community involvement, supporting inclusive and sustainable approaches to cultural research and management.
